stand

School students form stand teams to provide a strategy to strengthen school-based anti-tobacco norms and develop leaders as anti-tobacco advocates in both their school and community. Students meet twice a month for the entire year.

In FY 2005, over 200 students participated in at least one stand project including anti-tobacco poster projects, stand at the movies, stand movie premier, and the tobacco fact sticker project. Thirty students participated in a legislative visit to the Ohio State House. One entire school participated in an assembly and other activities during Kick Butts Day.
