Keep A Clear Mind

With funding from the Ohio Tobacco Use Prevention and Control Foundation, the Morrow County Tobacco Project includes youth tobacco prevention programs implemented throughout the school year. Morrow county students in the 5th grade participate in the Keep A Clear Mind program.

Keep A Clear Mind (KACM) is a Model Program recognized by the Center for Substance Abuse Prevention. It is a take-home substance abuse education program targeting 5th grade students and their parents at a time when their children are beginning to make critical decisions about the use of tobacco and other substances. It consists of four weekly sets of activities which children and parents complete together. It also includes four parent newsletters and incentives for program participation.
